Polytechnique has won Best Picture at the 30th annual Genie Awards for excellence in Canadian cinema.  Overall, in a move that I’m sure I’m not the only one who saw coming, the film won 6 of its 11 nominations.  I was very glad to see the Canadian masterpiece, One Week, recognized through a very deserving Best Actor win for Joshua Jacskon.
