Jeff Bridges won a very deserved Oscar for his role in Crazy Heart, playing a washed up country singer.  This past Tuesday, (April 20th), 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released the film on DVD and Blu-Ray.  This is one worth watching.  We reviewed Crazy Heart when it opened in theatres on January 14th – we all highly recommended it.  Read our reviews here, our consensus was:

“Crazy Heart is a very good film, that’s fronted by excellent, Oscar-worthy performances. Particularly Jeff Bridges, who carries the movie as country singer Bad Blake. The story and music truly enhance the film. Even if you’re not a big country music fan, this is one worth seeing. ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

Special features on the Blu-Ray include deleted scenes and alternate music cuts, as well as a featurette on the actors.  It also includes a digital copy of the film.
