From the makers of Planet Earth and The Blue Planet: Seas of Life, comes Life – now available (since June 1st) as a Blu-Ray 4-disc box set.

 

Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, this is an 11-part mini-series, that if you’ve enjoyed the others in the BBC Earth line, you’ll want to add to your collection.

 

Out of the box, the discs are incased in one of the Blu-Ray books that I’ve come to really enjoy from Warner Home Video.  Two discs on each side, with a few stunning images from the series in the middle.  Along with the 11 episodes, the following special features are included:

 

• Life on Location – A collection of ten behind the scenes video diaries showing the exhaustive efforts by the filmmaking team to bring this remarkable series to the screen.

• Deleted Scenes

• “Music Only” Viewing Option
