Today, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing Date Night on DVD & Blu-ray.  The hilarious duo of Steve Carell and Tina Fey star as a married couple going out for “date night” only to end up – through a case of mistaken identity – having to take down the mob.  Both in scenes of action and comedy, this is the most entertaining action-comedy so far this year.  We reviewed the film when it opened in theatres on April 9th, all highly recommending it.  You can read our full reviews here – our consensus was:

Date Night is just that – a great date movie.  Steve Carell and Tina Fey are hilarious together, and the action scenes throughout are fast-paced and exciting.  An incredibly entertaining time at the movies. ***1/2 (Out of 4)

 

The DVD includes audio commentary with director Shawn Levy, as well as several featurettes, a gag reel, and 3 different Date Night “PSAs.”  The Blu-ray combo-pack also includes a digital copy.

 

Date Night is 101 minutes, and is rated 14A.
