Today, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing the kid’s comedy Marmaduke on DVD & Blu-ray.  We reviewed the title when it opened in theatres on June 4th.  It probably wasn’t worthy of quite such a high rating, but this is still an enjoyable film that features a dog-lover’s delight of different breeds and personalities.  You can read our full reviews here – our consensus was:

 

“Although the human cast is just average, Owen Wilson’s voice is put to good use in the title role.  Marmaduke also features a bounty of dogs that are fun to watch.  Overall, this is harmless fun that the whole family can enjoy. *** (Out of 4)”

 

The Blu-ray includes several featurettes, including home movies of puppy Marmaduke and kitty Carlos, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.  Marmaduke is 88 minutes and rated G.
