We’re a little late in the game getting to this, but these pieces of Pixar news are too good to pass up.

Pixar’s latest masterpiece, and one of the best movies of the year, Toy Story 3 is coming to DVD & Blu-ray on November 2nd.  The film will be available to buy in several formats, but perhaps the most impressive is the Ultimate Toy Box Edition BD trilogy.  See above right, click image for larger view.

Also, Pixar’s 2012 release, Brave, recently got a new logo treatment, which is on display at Walt Disney World.  The photo of the logo, (taken by twitter user @PaulChadkin), we’ve blown up, enhanced, and cropped, sharpening the colour balance for clearer details.  Look closely at the first and last letters for outlines of two of the film’s main characters…  Click here for the image.  UPDATE: Click here for the now officially released version of the logo.

And last but certainly not least, although Newt is no longer in production, Pixar recently released 30 pieces of gorgeous concept art from the film, one of which, (a teaser for the rest), is posted below.  The full collection can been seen here, giving us a look at just how visually stunning a film this could have been.  Knowing Pixar, if there is a good enough story to tell, we will see some version of these visuals brought to the big screen eventually.
