Today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing the animated film Open Season on 3D Blu-ray.  Originally released in 2006 (also in IMAX 3D), the amusing film follows a group of animals taking back the forest during hunting season.  Those who enjoyed the movie and have upgraded to 3D TV will want to check this one out in the third dimension.

 

The disc also includes the film in 2D, as well as the bonus features from the original release, including an animated short that is now presented in 3D.

 

Open Season is 86 minutes and rated G.
