Winners at The 68th Annual Golden Globes

The 68th annual Golden Globe Awards have come to a close, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has named Lisa Cholodenko’s The Kids Are All Right the best comedy or musical of last year, and David Fincher’s The Social Network the best drama.  Pixar’s Toy Story 3 was named the best animated film.

We would like to take this time to congratulate all of the night’s winners, even those who didn’t pick up any awards.

In the acting categories, the great performances of Colin Firth (The King’s Speech), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Paul Giamatti (Barney’s Version), Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right), Mellissa Leo (The Fighter), and Christian Bale (The Fighter) were named the best of last year.

On the television side of things, Claire Danes was named the best actress of last year in a TV movie for her excellent work in Temple Grandin, and Boardwalk Empire was voted the best dramatic series.  Glee took home the award for best comedy or musical.  Click here for a full list of winners in all of the TV categories.
