Today, Films We Like is releasing LENNONYC on DVD.  Told through unreleased in-studio recordings, concert footage and exclusive interviews, the documentary tells the story of John Lennon after he broke up with The Beatles, and moved to New York in 1971.

 

Michael Epstein’s film offers an interesting and intimate look at a lesser known part of the life of an influential musical legend, who was taken from us far too young.  Fans of John Lennon or The Beatles – one of the greatest rock bands of all time, will want to check out LENNONYC on DVD.
