On February 1st, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released All About Eve for the first time on Blu-ray.  Nominated for 14 Academy Awards in 1950 and winning 6 including Best Picture, the film stars Anne Baxter as an actress who becomes obsessed with upstaging her broadway idol, who’s played by Bette Davis.  Featuring a screenplay by Joseph L. Mankiewicz that could only be described as brilliant, this is a definitive classic that comes highly recommended on Blu-ray.

 

The Blu-ray comes packed with bonus material, including two commentary tracks, an isolated music track, 2 featurettes on Mankiewicz, as well as archival footage.  It comes beautifully packaged with a 24-page book of trivia and photos.
