On the 17th of March, legendary actor Michael Gough sadly passed away due to failing health.  He was 93, and had a long career lasting from 1946 to 2009.

Perhaps best known for his role as Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman films of the late 1980’s and ‘90’s, Gough will also be remembered for small roles in notable films like Out of Africa and on the TV series Doctor Who.  His final screen performance was voicing a character in last year’s Alice in Wonderland.

He will be missed, may he rest in peace.
