Today, Walt Disney Studios’ Home Entertainment is releasing their wonderful 50th animated film, Tangled, on Blu-ray & DVD.  With excellent animation, entertaining characters and an appealing soundtrack, this original take on Rapunzel has the feel of a studio-classic.  We reviewed Tangled when it opened in theatres on November 24th, our overall consensus was:

 

“With beautiful animation, appealing characters and an excellent soundtrack, Tangled is Walt Disney Pictures’ 50th animated film, and it plays as a heartfelt and hilarious studio classic from beginning to end. ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

 

The Blu-ray includes deleted scenes, a ‘making-of’ featurette, and the film’s original storybook opening.  Also included is a DVD of the film.

 

Tangled is 100 minutes and rated PG.
