April Fools!  Although the first paragraph is true, refunds will unfortunately not be offered for the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon come this July.  Our deepest apologies to Michael Bay and his fans…

 

Let us start the month with a little buzz.  Several weeks back, Michael Bay admitted that the headache-inducing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was not his best work.  A largely unfinshed script was blamed for the chaotic results of the 2009 smash hit.

 

But I’ve heard it through the grapevine that Bay has so much faith in his latest installment, this summer’s Dark of the Moon – particularly the replacment of Megan Fox with Victoria’s Secret lingerie model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, that there might be plans to offer free tickets to anyone who can retain their receipts from Revenge of the Fallen.

 

I presume that your old tickets can be brought to the theatre when the film opens this summer, and exchanged for admission to the new movie.  But please check back here at noon for full details.  The only thing fishy about this announcement is that it comes on April 1st – exactly three months before the release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon on the 1st of July.
