Today, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader on Blu-ray & DVD.  The third film adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ beloved series of books, it is carried by strong performances and good special effects.  We reviewed the film when it opened in theatres on December 10th, all considering it a fun adventure for those of all ages.  Our overall consensus was:

“The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is carried by good acting and impressive visual effects.  This third installment in the big-screen adaptations of C.S. Lewis’ classic Narnia series is an entertaining fantasy adventure for those both young and old. ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes commentary with Director Michael Apted and Producer Mark Johnson, deleted scenes, an animated short, as well as numerous featurettes.  Also included is a digital copy of the film.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is 112 minutes and rated PG.
