DVD Release: A Dog Named Christmas

On October 25th, eOne Home Entertainment released A Dog Named Christmas on DVD.  Todd McCray (Noel Fisher) is a young man with a developmental disability who has always dreamed of having a dog.  When the local shelter offers a program for families to foster animals over Christmas, he convinces his father (Bruce Greenwood) to bring a dog onto the farm, if only for a few days.

Produced by Hallmark and airing on TV last year, A Dog Named Christmas is a Holiday film with its heart in the right place that can be enjoyed by dog lovers of pretty much any age.  Based on the novel by Greg Kincaid, this is a predictable but sweet little film about the bond between people and animals that would make a nice gift.

The DVD includes no bonus features.

A Dog Named Christmas is 94 minutes and rated G.
