Today, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is releasing Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days on Blu-ray & DVD, just in time for Christmas next week.  With its share of amusing moments and a nice message, this third film in the popular series of literary adaptations is a light diversion that is guaranteed to go over very well with its target audience of kids.  We reviewed Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days when it opened in theatres back on August 3rd, and our overall consensus was:

“With good performances from the young leads as well as amusing comedic set pieces and a nice message, the threequel Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days improves the series and provides fun summer entertainment for those of all ages.  **1/2 (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes the brand new animated short film Class Clown, deleted scenes and a gag reel.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is 94 minutes and rated G.
