Blu-ray Release: Men, Women & Children

Men, Women & Children Blu-ray

Today, Paramount is releasing Men, Women & Children on Blu-ray, one of the best films from last year’s TIFF.  Directed by Jason Reitman, the haunting drama seamlessly weaves together the relationships of numerous teenagers and their parents, including the moving friendship that develops between high school outsiders Tim (Ansel Elgort) and Brandy (Kaitlyn Dever), whose mother (Jennifer Garner) closely monitors all of her online activity.

A provocative and surprisingly profound encapsulation of the digital age, Men, Women & Children is a big minded and ambitious film with something intelligent to say, a message delivered through brilliant writing and uniformly excellent performances.  This might just be the most criminally underrated film of 2014, and one that I think is absolutely worth seeking out.  My full review is right here.

The Blu-ray also has two featurettes and some deleted scenes, including an additional storyline.

Men, Women & Children is 119 minutes and rated 14A.
