Last week, Paramount released the 1977 animated feature Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown for the first time on DVD.  This adventure follows Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang to summer camp, where they end up competing against each other and a group of bullies in a river race.

Following A Boy Named Charlie Brown in 1969 and Snoopy, Come Home in 1972, and proceeded by Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don’t Come Back!!!) in 1980, this was the third theatrical film starring the beloved Charles Schulz characters.

With some nicely animated sequences and a fun bluegrass soundtrack, as well as plenty of adorable antics from Snoopy and Woodstock, Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown is a delight for fans of the characters, that is especially worth revisiting before The Peanuts Movie opens on November 6th.
