Last week, Sony Pictures released Masters of Sex: Season Two on Blu-ray.  Dramatizing the lives of famed sex researchers Dr. William Masters (Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan), this second season of the acclaimed show continues to explore how their relationships in and out of the office are affecting both their work and those around them.

With brilliant performances from Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, and intelligent writing through every episode, Masters of Sex continues to offer compelling and richly textured human drama, that fascinatingly explores the changing social and sexual landscape of the era.  Both engaging and intellectually stimulating, this is one of the best shows that modern television has to offer.

Along with all twelve episodes from the show’s second season, the Blu-ray set also includes deleted scenes, a couple of featurettes, and a roundtable with the actors.

Masters of Sex: Season Two is 699 minutes and rated 18A.
