Sony is releasing director Jonathan Levine’s holiday buddy comedy The Night Before on Blu-ray today, which leaves plenty of time to pick up a copy before next Christmas.  With their annual tradition of spending December 24th together reaching its end, Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen) and Chris (Anthony Mackie) set out in search of an elusive holiday party, a journey that provides its own share of emotional and substance-induced highs and lows.

Featuring genuine chemistry between its leads, The Night Before is a highly enjoyable and surprisingly sweet comedy that proudly wears its heart on the sleeve of its brightly coloured novelty sweater, and has all the beats of a new Christmas classic.  I was a big fan of this one, and my full review can be found right here.

The Blu-ray also has a bounty of bonus features, including deleted and extended scenes, a gag reel, and multiple “behind the scenes” featurettes with the cast.
