This morning, Disney unveiled the teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, officially bringing Marvel’s “First Family” into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This version stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

They are going up against Ralph Ineson’s Galactus and Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer. The first thing that stands out about this teaser is the retro-futuristic look of the whole thing, with director Matt Shakman sticking to more of a 1960s Space Age aesthetic. It shares some similarities with WandaVision, which makes sense since Shakman also directed that Disney Plus series.

The film opens exclusively in theatres on July 25th. The full teaser trailer is below.
