Distributor NEON has just released the new official trailer for TIFF People’s Choice Award winner The Life of Chuck. This trailer reveals more of director Mike Flanagan’s Stephen King adaptation, including glimpses of Tom Hiddleston’s titular Chuck. The dance sequence is wisely being kept hidden, but is hinted at. We also hear some of Mark Hamill’s film-defining monologue.

I got to see The Life of Chuck at the TIFF premiere last year (my 4-star review is here), and it remains my favourite movie of the year so far. I don’t see anything topping it for a while. This trailer does a good job of selling audiences on the film’s mysterious and emotional but also life-affirming tone.

The film opens in select theatres on June 6th, and everywhere June 13th. The full trailer is below, please feel free to comment your thoughts after watching it!
