Pixar has just put out the first teaser trailer for Hoppers, the animation studio’s next original movie. This one is directed by Daniel Chong, who is best known for the popular cartoon series We Bare Bears. The story follows a girl who transfers her mind into a robotic beaver body, allowing her to infiltrate the animal world.

It looks very cute and comedic, with some pretty funny bits in the teaser, which hopefully translates into this being a hit with audiences. It’s understandable why Pixar is selling this as being from the studio that brought you Inside Out 2 and the Toy Story movies; they are in need of another box office hit, with original movie Elio sadly underperforming at the box office right now.

The film opens in theatres on March 6th, 2026, so it’s still a little way’s off. Hopefully Disney can use that time to really market this film and drum up excitement. The teaser trailer is below!
