Disney’s Zootopia was a wonderful surprise back in 2016, and it’s become a fan favourite over the years, so a sequel was inevitable. Now we are finally getting one nearly a decade later with Zootopia 2, and the studio has just put out a brand new trailer for the film.

This sequel sees the return of bunny cop Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) and her fox partner Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), alongside some new characters; Gary De’Snake (Ke Huy Quan), Nibbles (Fortune Feimster) and Dr. Fuzzby (voice of Quinta Brunson). My biggest takeaway from the trailer is that this looks like a total blast. There’s a lot of very funny stuff here (the therapy scene, that moment at the end), and it’s great to see more of the well-established interplay between Nick and Judy. They are clearly embracing the classic “buddy cop” dynamic.

The film opens exclusively in theatres on November 26th, and I’m expecting it to be a massive box office hit over the holidays. The full trailer is below, please feel free to drop your thoughts below after watching it!
