20th Century Studios has just put out the first trailer and poster for Swiped. Rachel Lee Goldenberg (Unpregnant) directs this based-on-a-true-story film, which stars Lily James in the role of Whitney Wolfe Herd, founder of online dating apps Tinder and Bumble. Lofty comparisons to The Social Network might be unavoidable. Otherwise, this looks like an enjoyable enough streaming film.

This is actually a Hulu Original that will be having its world premiere at TIFF in the Gala section, before streaming exclusively on Disney+ in Canada on September 19th. I’ll try to check this one out during the festival if I can. The full trailer is embedded below.
