We now have a new trailer (and poster) for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the upcoming third film in James Cameron’s Pandora-set trilogy. This fresh look arrives before the re-release of 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water on October 3rd. It reveals a bit more of the plot and shows us some new footage, including the stunning fire visuals, opening on new character Varang (Oona Chaplin), leader of the Ash clan.

I’m looking forward to seeing this one in IMAX 3D. The film opens exclusively in theatres on December 19th, and I’m sure Disney and 20th Century Studios are banking on this being another billion dollar hit over the holidays, especially with that overseas box office.
