Netflix has just put out the official trailer for Jay Kelly. This is Noah Baumbach’s latest film, starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler. It premiered at Venice and Telluride, and is about to play at NYFF. I’m still pretty crushed this one didn’t play TIFF.

Clooney stars as the titular Jay Kelly, an aging movie star, and Sandler is his manager. This has been my most anticipated film of the fall for a while, and that hasn’t changed (despite the slightly mixed reactions it got out of Venice). I’m still very excited for this one. The film opens in select theatres on November 14th, before streaming on Netflix on December 5th.
