NEON has just released a new trailer for Sentimental Value. This is Norwegian director Joachim Trier’s follow up to The Worst Person in the World, reuniting him with that film’s star Renate Reinsve.

I saw this one during TIFF, and it’s easily one of the best movies of the year, if not the best I’ve seen so far. You can read my 4-star review from the festival right here. This trailer gives audiences a good taste of the film’s emotional scope, which explores the complicated relationship between Reinsve’s character and her father (Stellan Skarsgård), a famous film director.

It’s opening in limited release on November 14th, with Elevation Pictures handling distribution here in Canada.
