New This Week (02/20/2026): EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert, Midwinter Break, & More!

By John Corrado

New releases for the week of February 20th, 2026.

Theatrical Releases:

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert (Limited Release): Baz Luhrmann follows up his Elvis biopic with this documentary assembled from never before seen performance footage of Presley that he discovered during that film’s production. If you’re an Elvis fan like me, this is an absolute must see, letting us witness why Presley was one of the greatest performers who ever lived. I saw it twice at TIFF last year, including in IMAX, and it’s a rapturous experience. The footage of Elvis performing “Suspicious Minds” alone will make you feel like you are levitating right out of your seat. Playing exclusively in IMAX for one week, before expanding on February 27th. (TIFF 2025 Review)

Midwinter Break (Limited Release): Lesley Manville and Ciarán Hinds star as an older married couple on vacation together in Amsterdam in this debut film from British theatre director Polly Findlay. I just saw this one last night. It’s a very quiet, understated film that unfolds at a patient pace, but the strong performances from these two seasoned actors make it engaging to watch.
