New releases for the week of April 3rd, 2026.

Theatrical Releases:
The Drama (Wide Release): Robert Pattinson and Zendaya star as a couple about to be married in this buzzy new dark comedy from A24 and Norwegian writer-director Kristoffer Borgli (Dream Scenario, Sick of Myself). Pattinson is very good as a groom forced to question his entire relationship the week before his wedding, and the film is fairly engaging to watch. But I’m not sure it entirely works, and I have some mixed feelings about this one, especially with its big “twist” which is handled in questionable taste. Audiences will be divided. (Full Review)
Fantasy Life (Limited Release): Matthew Shear writes, directs, and stars in this indie dramedy, playing an anxious young Jewish man in New York who is hired to babysit his psychiatrist’s (Judd Hirsch) three granddaughters, and finds himself developing feelings for their mother (Amanda Peet). I really enjoyed this one, especially Peet’s wonderful supporting performance as a mildly depressed middle-aged actress. An impressive debut from Shear. (Full Review)
