Michele Wallerstein, as a Hollywood literary agent, can give tips that other authors can’t. Because the ‘unwritten’ business rules can make or break your career, it’s great to see a book that covers some of those in’s and out’s.
Sectioned into five parts this is a perfect business overview, that at just over 200 pages is not too long. It’s an enjoyable enough book to read, with short enough chapters (within the sections) to sit down and read when you only have a couple of minutes at a time.
Put simply, Mind Your Business gives an interesting look at a side of the screenwriting world that isn’t often covered in straight ‘art of screenwriting’ books. I’d definitely recommend reading this one.
