DVD/Blu-ray Release: Robocop trilogy, The Last of the Mohicans & Troll 2

On October 5th, 20th Century Fox & MGM Home Entertainment released a diverse selection of several classic films on Blu-ray & DVD.

Robocop trilogy:  Starring Peter Weller (Robert Burke in the third one) as the half man, half machine who cleans up crime on the streets of Detroit, these gritty sci-fi classics are available for the first time ever as a Blu-ray boxed set.

Robocop is 103 minutes and rated 18A.  Robocop 2 is 117 minutes and rated R.  Robocop 3 is 105 minutes and rated 14A.

The Last of the Mohicans: Michael Mann’s 1992 big-screen adaptation of the classic James Fenimore Cooper novel, The Last of the Mohicans, is now available as a ‘director’s definitive cut’ on Blu-ray.  Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, this critically acclaimed film is being released in honour of Fox’s 75th anniversary.

The Last of the Mohicans is 114 minutes and unrated.

Troll 2: Considered by many to be the worst movie ever made, Troll 2 is available for the first time ever on Blu-ray & DVD.  Normally bad movies aren’t recommended, but the 20th anniversary ‘Nilbog’ edition of this disaster is worth checking out just to say you’ve seen it.

Troll 2 is 95 minutes and rated 14A.
