Today Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is releasing Easy A on Blu-ray & DVD.  With more than a nod to the great John Hughes, and a strong performance from breakout star Emma Stone, this high school comedy is one worth seeing.  We reviewed Easy A when it opened in theatres on September 17th.  Our overall consensus was:

 

“With a sharp-witted script and fast-paced dialogue, Easy A features many clever one liners and slick pop culture references.  Although it could be called an uneven film, what really makes it worth watching is the strong leading work from Emma Stone. *** (Out of 4)”

 

The Blu-ray includes commentary with director Will Gluck and Emma Stone, audition footage of Stone, several featurettes, a gag reel, and a trivia track.

 

Easy A is 93 minutes and rated 14A.
