DVD/Blu-ray Release: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1

Last Friday, Warner Home Entertainment released Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 on Blu-Ray & DVD.  The film that grossed more than $940 million at the worldwide box office, fans will want to get this one to re-watch in crystal clear HD before the release of the final installment this July.  We reviewed the film in theatres on November 19th, our consensus was:

With excellent performances, special effects, and a hauntingly beautiful score by Alexandre Desplat, The Deathly Hallows deserves to be seen on the big screen.  Part 1 of David Yates’ spectacular cinematic retelling of J.K. Rowling’s final novel in the Harry Potter series, is a great lead-up to next summer’s final installment. **** (out of 4)

The 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo includes the following bonus features:

• Exclusive Sneak Peek of a scene from the final film

• Maximum Movie Mode – Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), and other members of the cast/crew host an interactive journey through the film

Behind the Soundtrack

• Additional Scenes

• Featurettes

• And much more!

The combo pack also includes a DVD & Digital Copy of the film.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is 146 minutes and rated PG.
