Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas on Blu-ray & DVD today.  A straight to video spin-off from 1997, the film takes place during the original 1991 classic as Belle (voice of Paige O’Hara) and the Beast (Robby Benson) get the castle ready to celebrate Christmas.  Although obviously not in the same high league as the original Beauty and the Beast, The Enchanted Christmas would make a nice gift for kids.  Also on DVD is Beauty and the Beast: Belle’s Magical World.

The Blu-ray includes a music video and several sing along features, as well as some “behind the scenes” featurettes.

Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas is 71 minutes and rated G.
