After nearly a year, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is finally releasing the animated film Arthur Christmas on DVD & Blu-ray.  Beautifully animated at Aardman and filled with wonderful humour as well as a big heart, this is a modern Christmas classic that absolutely deserves a spot in your permanent collection.  We reviewed and loved Arthur Christmas when it opened in theatres last November 23rd, our overall consensus was:

“With brilliant animation from Aardman and a story that is as wonderfully humorous as it is heartfelt, Arthur Christmas is filled with the true spirit of the season and is destined to become a holiday classic.  **** (Out of 4)”

The DVD includes a featurette on the plot and characters of the film as well as progression reels of the animation and an Elf Recruitment Video.

Arthur Christmas is 98 minutes and rated G.
