Today, Disney is releasing The Jungle Book 2 for the first time on Blu-ray, a theatrical sequel that originally came out in 2003.  When Mowgli (Haley Joel Osment) gets bored living in the “man village” with Shanti (Mae Whitman) and her family, Baloo (John Goodman) brings him back to the jungle, but Shere Khan (Tony Jay) is on their trail looking for revenge.

Although this largely mediocre sequel is not in the same league as the wonderful original from 1967, and adults might find their attention wandering despite the brief running time, The Jungle Book 2 is an alright diversion for younger kids who are sure to enjoy the cute characters and songs.

The Blu-ray includes deleted scenes, music videos and sing along songs, as well as a look at the legacy of The Jungle Book.

The Jungle Book 2 is 72 minutes and rated G.
