Blu-ray Review: Nobody 2 (Collector’s Edition)

By John Corrado

Nobody 2, the sequel to the 2021 Bob Odenkirk action movie, is now available on physical media following its end of summer run in theatres this past August.

This sequel transplants the action to an old school water park, where Odenkirk’s Hutch is taking his family on vacation, but ends up in the middle of fighting a crime ring. The film comes to us from Indonesian director Timo Tjahjanto, with John Wick creator Derek Kolstad – who directed the first one – returning to co-write the script.

If Nobody 2 is light on plot, it is heavy on the well-choreographed action, with Odenkirk once again being the centrepiece attraction as the family man turned action hero. Plus, the whole thing runs just under ninety minutes.

I enjoyed this one for what it is (you can read my review right here). It’s a pretty good action flick, that, like its predecessor, should find even more on an audience through at-home viewing. And fans of the film will be happy to be able to add the Blu-ray to their shelves beside the first one.

Film Rating: ½ (out of 4)

The Blu-ray includes a selection of deleted scenes and two featurettes. It ships with a slipcover.
