Independent Film Distribution Book Review By Erin V.

Every year, thousands of films are made around the world.  Almost anyone can get their hands on a camera that is within a reasonable price range now, but still provides a quality image.  Despite the many doors to an audience the internet has created, it has also created a problem.  If you want to keep making films, you can’t just give them away for free all the time.

It is true, there is a surplus of films, and every one is not, nor should, get a distributor behind it.  Most of these films are never seen outside of a YouTube channel, (and often with good reason).  But what about those hidden gems that do deserve to be seen in further distribution?

Independent Film Distribution provides that elusive and much-needed glimpse into the world of getting your film out there.  Phil Hall expertly combines information with interviews to create a must-read-resource for independent filmmakers.  There are thousands of films being made every year, but that doesn’t neccesarily mean your’s needs to be lost amongst them.
