Today, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment is releasing the great Prep & Landing on DVD.  Originally airing in 2009, the animated TV special follows Wayne (voice of Dave Foley) and Lanny (Derek Richardson), two little elves who are in charge of preparing houses for Santa’s visit on Christmas Eve.  Brilliantly conceived and beautifully animated, Prep & Landing has holiday charm to spare and ranks as one of the best Christmas specials in recent memory.  The entire disc is “totally tinsel” and well worth having in your collection.

The DVD includes the equally excellent short film Operation: Secret Santa and the hilarious Tiny’s Big Adventure, as well as some truly inspired training videos and commercials for elf services.

Prep & Landing is 22 minutes and rated G.
