Two weeks ago on July 17th, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released The Three Stooges on Blu-ray & DVD.  A passion project for directors Peter and Bobby Farelly, this is an amusing family film that is brought to life by good performances from Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos in the iconic title roles.  We reviewed The Three Stooges when it opened in theatres on April 13th, our overall consensus was:

“Although this remake of The Three Stooges is an uneven family comedy, the film deserves a mild recommendation because Will Sasso, Chris Diamontopoulos and Sean Hayes fit perfectly in the iconic leading roles.  **1/2 (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes deleted/extended scenes, featurettes on the “poifect” casting and sound effects, a “behind the scenes” look at the film and a history of The Three Stooges.

The Three Stooges is 92 minutes and rated PG.
