Last week, Disney Home Entertainment released the animated classic The Aristocats for the the first time on Blu-ray.  Taking place in 1910 and starring an adorable bunch of animated felines, this is a charming little film that plays to an excellent soundtrack of jazz songs by the Sherman Brothers, including such catchy tunes as “Thomas O’Malley Cat” and “Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat.”

First released in 1970, The Aristocats is notably remembered as the last animated film that got the blessing of the great Walt Disney before he died in 1966.  Disney films are always a delight to watch on Blu-ray and this animated musical looks better than ever with this beautiful high definition transfer, offering the perfect opportunity for cat lovers of all ages to add the film to their collections.

The Blu-ray includes a deleted song, numerous featurettes as well as a bonus short film and a couple of digital games for kids.

The Aristocats is 78 minutes and rated G.
