Today, Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing the nicely done concert film and documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me on Blu-ray & DVD.  Following the record breaking pop singer over her year long California Dreams tour, we see everything from her strict upbringing to her divorce from bad boy comedian Russell Brand.  The performances are rousing and spectacular, but this is also an emotionally raw documentary that shows the person beneath the pop star.

There are millions of teenagers and young adults who have been deeply inspired by her music and message of being yourself no matter what, and Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D is an honest and excellent look at the pop star that will make fans appreciate her even more.  The concert scenes lend themselves well to Blu-ray, and fans of the singer are encouraged to add the film to their collections.  Please read my full thoughts on Katy Perry: Part of Me right here.

The Blu-ray includes bonus concert performances of “Waking Up in Vegas” and “Last Friday Night” as well as several featurettes.  The film is also available to buy in 3D.
