Along with Up, Disney Home Entertainment is releasing director Andrew Stanton’s Pixar classic Finding Nemo on Blu-ray & DVD today, including a copy of the beloved 2003 film in 3D.  Filled with charming characters and excellent voice work from a top notch cast, this is a tenderly told and beautifully animated modern classic that looks great in high definition and in the third dimension.  We reviewed the 3D rerelease of Finding Nemo when it opened in theatres this past September 14th, and our overall consensus was:

“Adding a nice layer of depth to the stunning animation, this spectacular 3D rendering of Finding Nemo reminds us why the 2003 Pixar film is regarded so highly as a modern classic, with charming characters and timeless messages.  **** (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes a picture-in-picture commentary track, deleted scenes, numerous featurettes, several aquarium screensavers for your TV and the brilliant short film Knick Knack.  The four disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition comes with the film in beautifully immersive 3D and would make a great gift.

Finding Nemo is 100 minutes and rated G.
