Pixar Character Encyclopedia Book Review By Erin V.
From Toy Story to Brave, Pixar has excelled at creating likable and memorable characters. Everyone has their favourites – be they minor or main – and now there’s a book that features over 200 characters from the 13 Pixar films that you can read through and enjoy.
From Woody to Merida, and Buttercup to the Omnidroid, this book has a ton of fun facts and character images. It’s the kind of book that you can pick up time and time again and always flip open to find something new and interesting to read. It is organized by film worlds (the Toy Story films have a section together, Wall•E has its own, etc.), which makes it easy to find what you’re looking for in an instant. Each section’s length is dictated by how many characters there are to profile, so more character heavy films like the Cars films have more pages than Up for example (which has a much smaller ‘cast’).
Well put together, Pixar fans of all ages can enjoy this reference book, which makes a perfect gift for someone on your list.
