Today, Paramount Home Entertainment is releasing the excellent Rise of the Guardians on Blu-ray & DVD, just in time for Easter.  A visually enchanting adventure that becomes a touching story about how the belief in hope can overcome fear, this is a beautifully animated film that is worth seeing for the dazzling set designs and action sequences.  We reviewed Rise of the Guardians when it opened on November 21st and our overall consensus was:

“With a touching story about hope overcoming fear, Rise of the Guardians is a beautifully animated film with an excellent voice cast that is a wonderful addition to the holiday season for audiences of all ages.  ***1/2 (Out of 4)”

The Blu-ray includes commentary with the filmmakers and numerous featurettes on all aspects of the production.  Also included with the package are two cute hopping eggs, which make this set a perfect Easter gift.

Rise of the Guardians is 97 minutes and rated G.
