Today, VVS Films is releasing the action film Olympus Has Fallen on Blu-ray & DVD.  When vengeful North Korean terrorists led by the evil Kang (Rick Yune) take over the White House and kidnap the President (Aaron Eckhart), it’s up to former guard Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) to use his inside knowledge and defend the country from the impending threat.

Although the villains are essentially racist stereotypes and the dialogue is sometimes laughable, Olympus Has Fallen did decent business at the box office when it was released back on March 22nd and clearly had some fans.  Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the film does offer a few cheap thrills as the bloody bodies gratuitously pile up alongside the predictable action movie clichés, and those who enjoy nonstop mayhem should get some mindless entertainment out of Olympus Has Fallen on Blu-ray.

The Blu-ray includes a blooper reel and five behind the scenes featurettes.

Olympus Has Fallen is 120 minutes and rated 14A.
