Today, 20th Century Fox is releasing the 1951 musical comedy On the Riviera for the first time on Blu-ray.  Jack Martin (Danny Kaye) is a celebrated impersonator who finds himself hired to pose as the famous aviator Henri Duran (also Danny Kaye) at a party, leading up to comical encounters with two different women, including his own girlfriend Collette (Corinne Calvet) and Henri’s wife, Lili Duran (Gene Tierney).

Nominated for two Oscars including Best Art Direction and Music, On the Riviera is a classic farce that still provides lighthearted entertainment and is worth seeing for the amusing performance from Danny Kaye, who picked up a Golden Globe for the role.

The Blu-ray includes three featurettes, providing portraits of Danny Kaye and choreographer Jack Cole.

On the Riviera is 90 minutes and rated G.
