It’s Thanksgiving Day across the border, and we would like to take a moment to offer our best wishes to all of our readers who are celebrating the day.  We hope you all have a great time over the holidays.

With Disney’s joyous and heartfelt animated triumph Frozen and the feel good musical Black Nativity (reviews tomorrow) opening yesterday, and the excellent sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire expected to win the box office, there are plenty of movies to be thankful for this holiday season.

The Thanksgiving classic Pieces of April is also celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, a small gem from 2003 that is absolutely worth seeking out.  But no matter how you celebrate, we hope you all have a great time over the long weekend.  Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
