Today, Paramount is releasing The Wolf of Wall Street on Blu-ray & DVD.  After Black Monday costs him his job, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) goes into the business of unloading penny stocks.

Founded with business partner Donnie Azoff (Jonah Hill), their company quickly rises in the financial world as their employees become rich on generous commissions, money that goes into funding wild office parties and numerous addictions, attracting the attention of an FBI agent (Kyle Chandler) determined to give them what they deserve.

Based on a true story, The Wolf of Wall Street is filled to the top with content, but I couldn’t think of a more entertaining way to spend three hours with a group of unlikeable people. Nominated for five Oscars including Best Picture, this is a darkly hilarious and energizing piece of work from veteran filmmaker Martin Scorsese, that is carried by an electric performance from Leonardo DiCaprio, who commands the screen with pure manic energy.
